Chadaptation #1: Go Vegan



Why "Chapadaptation?" I don't know. It's a silly play on words, I suppose, with my name being Chad and all. Essentially I want this blog to encompass the new things that I try, in a sense, the way I may "adapt" to my environment, be it for good or bad.

My first "project," if you will, is going vegan for 28 days following the "Engine 2" diet. The video above pretty much sums up why I'm taking on this challenge, but the main reason is health. And I'm a scientist/geek, so I want to see how the numbers play out (blood pressure, weight, cholesterol) with a diet devoid of animal products, added salts, sugars, and no processed foods.

I plan on shooting a new video every few days, and keeping my stats updated frequently on this blog. I hope to inspire myself, my wife, and others as I take on this challenge of eating not just like a rabbit, but a rabbit chef who knows how to make this kind of food enticing, flavorful, and fulfilling.
